The world is getting smaller. Or, at least, it’s beginning to feel that way. As telecommuting gets easier, and companies begin focusing more on the work-life balance, office space is no longer the tremendous necessity it once was. In short, your tenants just don't need you like you need them, and that can quickly become a costly situation. In fact, for some companies, the only thing keeping them in their current space could be the positive relationship they've cultivated with you as a property management company. So, how can you keep all of your tenants happy (and paying) now that the demand for office space is starting to diminish?

These days, the rate at which a company might experience growth or change is fast. When this happens quicky, an unorganized and cluttered office space follows. The addition of new employees and desks creates tight storage spaces and can impact productivy. A good office design is imparative!

Economical work space is often a selling point for the decision-makers of a company, but a cause of much grumbling among the employees working there every day. Obviously, you want your clients to be happy in their space, but if their employees are feeling frustrated, your clients may start losing faith in the space you put them in. Time to step in!

When your clients are in a cramped office space, saying they’re “unhappy” might be an understatement. Sometimes companies underestimate their growth rate ,and choose a too-small office space out of caution; some are hopelessly disorganized; and some might just have terrible layouts. However they got there, they need your help.

The good news is your client’s company is taking off like gangbusters; the bad news is their office space is already stretched beyond capacity. If your clients have found themselves bumping elbows a little too often, they’re one of many companies being limited by a lack of office space. When first setting up shop, it can be difficult for a company to determine how much space will be needed in the future. Considering that rent is often the second largest expense a company will have after payroll, many choose to err on the side of caution, and go with a smaller (and less costly!) office space.

It’s more than just a pretty face

We know it is the Board Room by the long row of leather chairs, and deep rich mahogany table. Both of those cliché’s can be true. The truth is the Board Room is often the “Heart” of the corporate office. Used in many important and varied ways. It is used for formal Board Meetings, executive team building, strategy sessions, training, client presentations, and even the occasional Holiday party.
